Applicant should be:

(a) a beneficiary of Basic Widow’s Pension, Invalid’s Basic Pension or Basic Orphan’s Pension;

(b) under the pension age; and

(c) following, or will follow, a full-time course in a recognised institution abroad.

2. Proof of Enrollment from a recognized institution for full time studies on a yearly basis for a maximum of three years
3. Certificate of recognition from Higher Education Commission or Mauritius Qualifications Authority
4. A copy of National Identity Card (NIC)
5. A copy of Passport details (both local and foreign)

Application may be registered at the Social Security Office nearest to the applicant’s locality.
