The National Savings Fund Technical Committee is established under Section 7 of the National Savings Fund Act 1995 and the Committee shall advise:

(i)  the Minister in the discharge of his/her responsibilities under the NSF Act;

(ii) the Minister in the administration of the Workfare Programme Fund; and  

(iii) the NPF and NSF Investment Committee on matters regarding the investments of the Fund.

The National Savings Fund Technical Committee is a tripartite advisory committee with the following composition:

(a) a chairperson;

(b) a representative of the Ministry of Social Integration, Social Security and National Solidarity;

(c) 3 representatives of employees;

(d) 3 representatives of employers; and

(e) 3 representatives of Government.
