Multiple Birth Allowance

Amount payable as from July 2024 – Rs 5000 (for each child over and above one live birth – for a maximum of 24 months)

  1. Payable in case the mother gives birth to more than one child during a confinement.
  2. Payable until the children reach 24 months of age.
  3. The aggregate annual income of both spouses should not exceed Rs 500,000.
  1. National Identity Card of claimant/spouse
  2. Birth Certificate of claimant/spouse/children
  3. Marriage Certificate
  4. Bank Account 
  5. Any latest Utility Bill (CEB, CWA or Telecom bill)
  6. Payslip.
  • Amount payable: Rs 5000 for each additional child
