Hearing Aid Allowance
Refunded to an approved supplier, subject to a maximum of Rs 10,000 per unit for each hearing aid (for each ear)
- To beneficiaries of Basic Pensions who would have qualified for Social Aid in absence of their basic pension; to Social Aid beneficiaries and beneficiaries of Unemployment Hardship Relief.
- Subject to monthly Household Income not exceeding Rs 35,000 (including income of ascendants and unmarried children)
- National Identity Card of claimant/Proxy/spouse
- Birth Certificate of claimant/ spouse
- Marriage Certificate
- Quotation from approved supplier
- Payslips of working members of household, if any.
- Documentary evidence of income from other sources
- Medical Certificate
Application must be registered at the Social Security Office nearest to the applicant’s locality.
