The unit contributes to the setting up of Health Clubs in the community through the network of Elderly Day Care Centres. There are 24 Health Clubs all over the Island.

One Nursing Officer is assigned each month to visit each of the 24 health clubs once per month, and is part of the Service de Proximite scheme.
