Allowance to Fire, Flood & Cyclone victims
Multiple Birth Allowance
Amount payable as from July 2024 – Rs 5000 (for each child over and above one live birth – for a maximum of 24 months)
- Payable in case the mother gives birth to more than one child during a confinement.
- Payable until the children reach 24 months of age.
- The aggregate annual income of both spouses should not exceed Rs 500,000.
- National Identity Card of claimant/spouse
- Birth Certificate of claimant/spouse/children
- Marriage Certificate
- Bank Account
- Any latest Utility Bill (CEB, CWA or Telecom bill)
- Payslip.
- Amount payable: Rs 5000 for each additional child
