Each month an activity concerning a specific health problem is carried out. Resource persons such as doctors, nurses and health educators provide their services. The topics addressed are diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, mental health, falls in the elderly, and palliative care. Elderly persons are screened for diabetic mellitus and hypertension.
