SDA is payable to a person residing in Mauritius provided that he<\/p>

  1. is under the retirement age;<\/li>
  2. suffers from a disability of not less than 40 percent and not exceeding 59 percent due to an injury or medical condition as specified in the sixth schedule of the SCSB Act 2021,\u00a0 PART II<\/strong><\/span>; and<\/li>
  3. is not in receipt of a basic pension under the National Pensions Act.<\/li><\/ol>

    Note: Beneficiaries aged below 18 are eligible to an additional monthly allowance of Rs 3000 (effective as from July 2024).<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

    5. Bank Name and Bank Account Number
      In the case of joint account, the National Identity Card(s) of Joint account holder(s) should be produced<\/li>
