BOP is payable to a child whose both parents have passed away and:<\/p>

  1. the child\/children should be unmarried;<\/li>
  2. payable up to the age of 16;<\/li>
  3. Payable up to the age of 23 in case of an orphan who is receiving full-time education.<\/li><\/ol>

    Note<\/strong> :\u00a0 In the case where the orphan is a non-citizen, either he or one of the parents must have resided in Mauritius for at least five years in aggregate in the ten years preceding the claim, one of those five years being immediately before the claim.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

      1. Birth Certificate for each orphan.<\/li>
      2. Birth and Marriage Certificates of guardian.<\/li>
      3. National Identity Card of guardian.<\/li>
      4. National Identity Card No of orphan aged 18 or over.<\/li>
      5. Death Certificates and National Identity cards No of deceased parents.<\/li>
      6. Certificate(s) of School Attendance for orphan aged 17 years and above.<\/li>
      7. Bank Name and Bank Account Number.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol>

        In the case of a joint account, the National Identity Card(s) of Joint account holder(s) should be produced.<\/p>

          1. Passport (where applicable).<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
