Stay abroad should exceed six consecutive months but not more than twelve consecutive months.<\/p>

Applicant should be a beneficiary of Basic Retirement Pension.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDocuments to be produced <\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t

    Application may be registered at the Social Security Office nearest to the applicant\u2019s locality.<\/p>

    For beneficiaries who are abroad, application may be submitted to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry.<\/p>

    Application should be made:<\/p>

    1. one month prior to the departure of the beneficiary;<\/li>
    2. not later than 6 months after the departure of the beneficiary for the continuation of his benefit; or<\/li>
    3. not later than 3 months after the date the beneficiary returns to Mauritius for payment of arrears of his benefit.<\/li><\/ol>
